Built in 1911 and still operated by hand, the heritage listed scoreboard has captured every era of the Oval’s story. Now, for the first time, you’re invited inside its timber walls to explore the craftsmanship, engineering and century old mechanisms that bring every score to life.

Booking T&Cs

• Guests must meet at the Adelaide Oval South Gate, on War Memorial Drive, 15 minutes before tour commences. Tours cannot not wait for late guests.

• Tour duration is approximately 45-minutes. Duration of tour may be impacted due to stadium operations, and guests acknowledge each tour experience varies.

• Child ticket for ages 5-15 years. Child attending with a ticket must be accompanied by an adult holding a ticket, children may not attend unaccompanied. 

• Guests must follow all tour guide instructions for safety, and adults attending with children must supervise their behaviour at all times..

• The heritage listed scoreboard is only accessible by stairs. Comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothes are strongly recommended. Stiletto shoes are not permitted inside the scoreboard. Should you have any concerns regarding the accessibility of the tour path, please contact us ahead of booking on 08 8205 4700.

• Tour guides will give direction to all guests in regard to moving around the stadium safely. All guests must adhere to all instructions provided by tour guide and stay close to the group at all times. Guests who do not follow these directions may be asked to leave.

• All Adelaide Oval Tours are subject to availability and tours may be rescheduled or cancelled due to stadium events at short notice. A Gift Card will be provided in instance where the rescheduled date and time is unsuitable. Cancellations outside 48 hours to tour departure are available to be reissued as a voucher, which is valid for 3 years from date of purchase. Bookings cancelled less than 48 hours prior to tour departure will not be refunded. Adelaide Oval Tours operate in all weather conditions including rain and are subject to Oval events and activities.
